There’s nothing quite like the fall turkey dinner in Queensborough. It’s a tradition that’s been going strong for seventy or maybe even eighty years now, and you can feel the pride in offering this to community, community that come from near and far.

That meal is incredible every single time, and I definitely may not need to eat again until they put on their next one. But what makes it truly special is knowing where those money raised goes. It is St. Andrews United Churches biggest fundraiser of the year, keeping their doors open while directly supporting three local kids heading to Camp Quin-Mo-Lac and helping tackle food insecurity in our schools.

It just goes to show the power of volunteers stepping up and making a real difference right here in our community at every level. Moments like that remind you why this municipality is such a great place to call home.
