At the Heart of Hastings Hospice AGM on June 18th, I had the privilege of being present when numerous volunteers were celebrated. Of those honoured, two stood out. Angus Anderson was named the Remarkable Recruit for 2025. Angus has been an incredible addition to thier team, described as enthusiastic, dependable, and always willing to lend a hand wherever he is needed. Joanne Albert was also recognized for her three years of service as Vice-Chair. For Joanne, this leadership is just a continuation of her deep commitment to community. Thank you so much to both Angus and Joanne for your outstanding dedication and heart.
